Well and like that, my Guest Designing week with Unity is over, I'm sad to say! But I sure hope that you will come back over and over again for a little inspiration, and to see what fun things I will come up with next!

If you missed any of my posts this week, you will want to make sure that you go back and comment on each of them! Unity is giving away 2 Itty Bittys to one lucky person who comments on each day of my posts! Here are the links to each post to make it a little easier!!

Day 1 - 3 piece Stamped Tile Home Decor
Day 2 - Boys Room Stamped Tile
Day 3 - Wall Decor - Dream Tree
Day 4 - Cards Galore!
And you are here! For day 5!

For today's project, I did a little of what I call Stampcycling! ;) Taking something that would have been thrown away, and turned it into something fabulous! I had purchased a burlap wrapped jar a month or so back, and I decided I'd give it a try!

With just a little Burlap, Scissors, and a Hot Glue Gun, I was able to easily re-create the burlap wrapped glass! (BUT STAMP BURLAP FIRST)

I knew that I was going to need an image stamp that was filled in, so after some time of looking through my vast assortment of amazing Unity stamps, I settled on the numbers from "A Number of Things"

Originally these stamps had the number also written out underneath the number, but I cut those off, as I wasn't going to use them on this project. I do this a lot!!

I have an ink called Paint Pad. I have not been able to find this particular type of inks since I started scrapping, and I had purchased from a girl off of craigslist in bulk with some other items. Anyhow, this ink is awesome! They are very thick, almost like a pigment ink, but also very wet like a paint. I heavily loaded my stamps up with the Paint Pad in black and stamped the image and numbers.

I pulled out some of the threads of the burlap and inked them brown so they would stand out against the burlap and used it to tie off a bow at the lip of the jar.

I also went back over the image to darken it a little bit with a black sharper marker. Pretty easy, quick and very effective!

Well, I sure hope that you have enjoyed my Growing in unity Guest Designer week. I truly am so sad, but I know that Unity will have another FABULOUS guest Designer up for you next week!

If you haven't yet, don't forget to enter into unity's Be Inspired Challenge. Entries close on the 15th of July! I chose to do the Color Challenge of Blue, Green, Yellow and Burgandy.
