My Featured Stamp set from this release is 29 and holding, and with my 30th Birthday having just passed at the end of last year, this set reminds me that 1) I am not the only person that stopped aging at 29; and 2) I am (we all are) fabulous at 30; 40; even in our 50’s and beyond!

29 and Holding

For my first project, a friend of mine is turning 30 right around the corner!  Looking back, I wish I had embraced the fact that I was heading into my 30’s with grace, charm, and some FAB d├ęcor. BUT I DID NOT. I refused to acknowledge it. No party + No dinner + No presents = No Birthday, right?!?

So, for my lovely friend Katrina’s Birthday, I wanted to embrace this huge move out of her 20’s! What better way, than with Chocolate, Strawberries and a Little Cool Whip adorned with this sweet little Sentiment, 30 and Fabulous!

 This set includes all numbers, so you can customize your projects to the recipient’s age!

Now, my friend Katrina, LOVES her High Heels and Jewelry, so I covered this 4x4 jewelry box in paper, and used coordinating paper for the “ribbon” around the edge of the box to stamp 30 and Fabulous around the Box. I used a left over Flag as an embellishment, and the High Heel comes from the Cricut Cartridge, Summer in Paris. I used a Tiger Stone beads and Sterling Silver findings for the Earrings. I hope that she likes them!!

I also wrapped up a plain candle to coordinate with this set in the same papers. I just LOVE this sentiment!!

Someone Like YOU Should be Celebrated Every Day

I used Stampin Up White Eyelets, and measured and marked where I needed to punch the holes for the Eyelets using my Crop-a-Dile. I laced it to look like a Bustier with Black Jute Cord, and embellished with Swarovski Crystal Beads and a Sterling Silver Star Charm. When she uses the candle, she will have to remove all of the Prettiness, but will be able to place the charm and crystals on a necklace to wear.

I also created a few cards to have on hand for my friends as well for these special occasions!! The sentiments are just too cute not to!

I am simply in love with this card! The colors, the Candles and the sentiments are so bright and cheerful!!

How charming is the sentiment?
No matter how many candles are on the cake, You're still the one that lights up the room!

And of course a little Cake and Ice Cream for this Birthday Girl!

Everything slows down with age, except the time it takes cake & ice cream to reach your hips!!

The Cake is from the Imagine More Cricut Imagine Cartridge.
I also cut out the Layer to use on the inside of the card below.

I used stickles to highlight some of the darling cupcakes, hearts and flowers on the background paper and used red and white twine to highlight the Cut.
 {Inside View}

Isn't this sentiment so true!? ;) I just LOVE it?!? As I get older, I realize this:
Old age is ALWAYS ten years older than us!

These girls are cut from the Cricut Imagine Cartridge, Better Together. I used the layer feature but cut of the phone cord and replaced it with twine that I inked black and a white piece of cardstock stamped with the Pink by Design Chevron Background Stamp.

I used my white Galaxy Marker for the stitching on the Tag, and the tag is cut from the Cricut Imagines, pre-programmed shapes.

Now this is my FAVORITE card that I made for this Hop. Who doesn't love a pair of heels? I absolutely adore Pink by Designs stamps sets featured in this Card.

Shoe Addict
Shoppaholic {and of course}
29 & Holding {are all used on this card}
Pink by Design Mini Wrappers Die for Tag
These are MUST HAVE sets for our Shoe lovers! {Click images for larger view}

I stamped the sentiment onto a die cut from Pink by Designs mini-wrappers dies and added a Bo Bunny Embellishment

The darling Heels are from the May's Stamp of the Month {which I am giving away!! - See below for entry requirements!}

I used the Shoppaholic stamp set, and used the four images to stamp the white grosgrain ribbon with black StazOn ink

{ I know that is what I intend to do today } Sheeeeesh it is HOT!! Mason apparently has no concept of the extreme heat and wants to be outside all the time! Maybe it's a boy thing....maybe I am a wimp!

I made this adorable and simple layout Using the Imagine More Cricut Imagine Cartridge for the two borders, kite and Happy Sun! ;)

I knew that I wanted it very simple, but also VERY bold in color! I used the PbD Sentiment Set Country Living for the Sentiment "Have a SUNNY day"

The ribbon is from last summer at Target in their dollar section ;) I never thought I was going to find anything to use it on! So glad that I did, I think it fit perfect!

Isn't this Kite adorable? I love the gathering on top and the different color bows down the string!! When you start pulling layers out of images on the cricut imagine cartridges, it really opens up a new way to look at things!! ;)

DIY Father's Day Coordinate Gifts

If you missed my post for Father's Day for Pink by Design you can still check it out HERE!!

Good Morning All, and Happy Father's Day to our male readers! This is Jessica from Homespun Elegance and I am incredibly excited to be sharing my first post as a Designer for the Lovely Sarah Hamer, Owner and Designer of Pink By Design!
For my project for you all today, I used 4 Pink By Design Stamp Sets:
I hope that you love what I've made! I sure do {and I sure Hope that Preston does too!}

Supplies:
Pink by Design Newsprint Background Stamp
DCWV Brights Matt Stack and Borders
Sanding Paper
White Bag
2" Square Punch
2" Circle Punch
Beige Card Stack
Paint Pad Black Ink
Black Grosgrain Ribbon 1.5"
Stapler
Joann's Dollar Bin DAD Chipboard peice
ATG
Black Tissue Paper
Crop a Dile
Stampin Up Eyelets
Journal
Small Hole Punch
Paper Trimmer
Altered Journal
Altered Journal
Assembly:
I had found a journal on deep clearance to facelift ;) Using the same beige cardstock, ink and Newsprint stamp, I stamped my images and cut to size for the cover and back panel of the journal. I used the DCWV Brights Border set to outline the background stamp. I had to take of the Plastic bindings, and re-created the inserts for it with a small hole punch. On the inner pannels I created panels to hold items, such as the bookmark or a pen. I also added another 3/4 circle punch in black as well as a Black flag, and stamped the sentiment Remember These Days from the Pink by Design Just Breathe Set.

Gift Bag:
Assembly:
I stamped 2 peices of 8.5 x 11 Beige Cardstock with the Newsprint Background stamp, until the entire surface was covered with the image and cut it to the size of each side of my bag. Then inked all of the edges of the white bag thouroughly with Black ink. I measured 14 inches of grosgrain black ribbon and stapled them to the inside of the bag. I adhered the Beige Stamped cardstock to each side of the bag with my ATG ensuring there was no white peeking through :)
I used the DCWV Brights Border Pack for the black ribbon (2" x 12") and cut to 5 inches. I used a 2" Square punch to form the V shape at the bottom and sanding with a course sanding paper, and inked the edges in black. For the Circle on the bag, I used DCWV Brights Matt Stack, and inserted 3/4 into a 2" circle punch. I sanded the peice and adhered to the Bag.
I attached the DAD sentiment for a pop of color and black tissue paper! Easier than it sounds!!
BookMark
Here is a quick and simple bookmark!!
Assembly:
I used two peices of the DCWV Borders and adhered together (Back to back). I used the My Type and Just a Note sentiment stamps from Pink by Design to stamp the Remember the Journey Phrase to the blue strips of scraps.
Using the same techniques and peices leftover from the bag, I made the partial circle and V at the Bottom. I also used Stampin up Grey eyelets, Natural Jute Cord, and my crop-a-dile.

Thank you so much for stopping by!! If you haven't linked up for this weeks Ink it Pink Challenge {theme – Masculine projects} please remember to get them in by Tuesday for your chance to win a Gift Card to purchase one of the amazing stamp sets shown today!!
Also don't forget to grab the Ink i Pink Badge to display on your page! It is a challenge requirement! For the first month of the challenge, any stamp sets can be used for your project!! ;0) Would love for you to stop by and play!!
HAPPY FATHER'S DAY TO ALL OF THE DADDY'S OUT THERE!
