Styrofoam, Sherbert, Twine & Bling!! Got your attention?!?!

Good morning all & welcome to Homespun Elegance! If this is your first time here, WELCOME!! I am so very happy to have you! If you are returning, thank you so much for coming back!

DON'T FORGET, I AM HAVING A HUGE GIVEAWAY THAT ENDS APRIL 10TH! TO FIND OUT HOW TO ENTER, CLICK HERE     please make sure to submit separate comments for each entry so that I can keep track!! Very important!

This project is one of my favorites, I must say! I purchased 3 inch Styrofoam balls, Styrofoam glue, and wrapped them in Twine to resemble the top of a Sherbet Ice Cream :) Who doesn't love Sherbert! YUM!

I used my Tie the Knot Cartridge to cut out the "Waffle Cones" :) These are actually meant to be Wedding Decor for flowers, but doesn't it look like a waffle cone? I ran it through my Cuttlebug for some texture and used my Tim Holtz Walnut Stain Distressed ink to give it a more realistic look!

In the cut, their are holes pre-made, so I tied an orange sherbert bow to the front and added lots and lots of BLING

Now are you ready for the FUN SURPRISE?? This is a kids toy! lol YEP, I did!

I sewed the Twine into the bottom of the Styrofoam ball (through the adhered twine) and before closing my waffle cone, I hot glued the twine into the seam for support!

Mason had the BEST time playing with this trying to get the sherbert cone into the waffle cup ;) I hope that you enjoy this project, because OM goodness I had a blast making them!!
